1. Description of the methods for collection/generation of data: 

In a  preliminary assay, 3 grams of fresh Rugulopteryx okamurae were inoculated with three different strains (FB1, PB1, and UMA2405). The photosynthetic activity of the algae was measured over 7 days, and a bacterial count was performed at the beginning and the end. At the end of the experiment, proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates were extracted and quantified.
Subsequently, a second experiment was conducted. Five grams of algae were inoculated with the different strains and maintained for 28 days (one autoclaved group and one non-autoclaved group). Bacterial counts were performed at the beginning, mid-point, and end.
